He also gained significant insights from an eight-year career with Bank of New Zealand, including time as an Executive Analyst, Business Partner and as a Partner specialising in Property Finance.

During his career he has gained a thorough understanding of the risks and returns associated with commercial property investment and has developed a diverse range of skills from a successful career in Professional Services.

What is property syndication?

In a property syndicate, individual investors pool money to buy property to spread risk and share the rewards. Depending on the structure of each syndicate, an investor in the syndicate may buy ‘units’ or ‘shares’ as a representative portion of their interest in the property. Returns are derived from lease income (less costs) and equity growth as the property appreciates over time.
